Week 2 brought us back down to Earth. There were quite a few covers, and that threw us off quite a bit. Hopefully we'll recover the watermelon kick and redeem ourselves this week.

Week 1 turned out OK for the Cheap Seats. The Kid didn't fare too well, but the rest of us did really well. JDaddy led the way, going 12-4. Long way to go, but it's a good start!

Wow! Where has the time gone? Some of y'all may remember when we started this little contest in 2011 when The Kid was a wee-little 4-year-old. Well, he turns 13 today, he's taller than his mom, and his voice is deep enough to reverberate through the walls.
I don't know if that's going to make him any better at picking games, but he's long past picking based on helmet color. And whatever he's done in the past has worked for him. He's won 3 years, and the rest of us have each won twice. Check here to find a list of how we've done in the past.
It's been a weird year for all of us. Thankfully, though, football is back. And so are your Cheap Seats picks. We hope you enjoy following along with us!
Well, better late than never, right? No, I'm not talking about a COVID-19 vaccine. I'm talking about posting the results of last year's pick 'em contest against a 12-year-old. I could blame it on me having back surgery last December, or the weirdness of 2020 in general, but that would be just hiding the fact that sometimes I'm lazy. Sue me.
Of all years to not get around to posting the results, the 2019 contest should not have been the one. We had our best year of all time. Uncle J ended up winning the season, but it came down to the last week, and all 4 of us had positive years. Here are the final standings.
